Faruk Yalcin Zoo

Riding butterflies is dumb.Travelling quite a distance for the only one in Turkey even more so, but if it's there ride it...and I did. Buried at the back of a small zoo you have to descend past panthers, lions and other animals before you get to the butterfly coaster. When Tal visited this one the car had a roof, but not today. It was a plain old uncovered ride on my visit. One quick ride with the driver starting it from the outside and a small gathering of kids unsure of what they were seeing and it was time to make my way out past the wild cats once more.

This park was the only one of the day that required an entrance fee of around 20 Turkish Lira.

It's a lion lyin' there.
