The Old City Walls

My hotel was just inside the old city walls and I thought I'd check them out first.

They look to have stood the test of time really well and I was already having flashbacks to Assassins Creed in which one of the games was set here.

Subsequent research however highlighted that the walls are going through a massive restoration program and have since the 1980s. Still I guess they've done a good job but seeing the original walls would have been better if not as pretty.
